Claustrophobia
Aerophobia could be triggered by Claustrophobia. The confined space of an aircraft could be inducing your panic.
Lack of Control
Unlike driving, where you're in charge, flying puts control in someone else's hands, which can cause fear and anxiety.

Flying phobia could be triggered by Acrophobia, or fear of heights, causing intense anxiety and dizziness.
A remarkable journey
John suddenly developed a fear of flying in 2015 and it started getting worse as time went on, especially during the Covid lockdowns. John and his wife had booked a long awaited holiday to the Caribbean in August 2023, but while he made it to the airport, he could not bring himself to get on the plane. His wife and children had to go for the holiday without him.
Feelings of shame and being a failure plagued John for months. After just 4 sessions with The Hypno Room, John was able to go on a business trip to Berlin. He then came in for a few more sessions before booking a holiday to Mauritius with his family during the Easter break.
